Assisted Living at The Lutheran Home
Assisted living is the alternative for seniors who need either long term or short term help with daily living but do not require the intensive care provided by our skilled nursing facility. Assisted Living at The Lutheran Home is also the ideal choice for those individuals whose regular care givers need to be out of town or simply need a break.
The Lutheran Home maintains two assisted living facilities, named East and West. Assisted Living East is attached to Saxony Manor at Saxony Village and has 43 beds while Assisted Living West is a stand alone building with 62 beds. Both assisted living facilities provide residents with warm, comfortable surroundings where each resident is encouraged to be as independent as possible while we assist with daily care, activities and nutrition.
We offer 24 hour supervision and have a Licensed Practical Nurse on duty five days a week. Each resident is provided three meals each day, with diet recommendations based on their medical needs. We have a staff of dieticians on campus who can answer any questions the resident or their family may have.
For those who would like assistance with their medications, our certified staff is prepared to store those medications and deliver them to the resident at the proper time. We provide assistance with transportation to physician's offices and outings.
For information on admissions or to schedule a tour, please contact Kari Gaskill, Admissions Coordinator at 573-986-6298.
